"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." Matthew 22: 36-40

A lot of us have experiences from our past or we might be living in a situation which obscures the lenses through which we view what love is and what true love feels like. In order to fully love God and our neighbors as we are called, we must understand God's love. Without the knowledge of the deep love God has for us, his children, we will never fully respond back to God with love in the way he asks. Once we truly know what his love feels like, we have the ability to share this love with the world.
Pastor Timothy Keller does an excellent job teaching the depths to which the Bible can help us in understanding our inner selves and the richness of God's love in his sermon titled The Wounded Spirit. Listen and rest in the knowledge the creator of the universe loves you so much, he came down and gave his life for you.
